The goal of this site is to offer a digest of world history linked to significant auction results.

Locating in a future auction sale a piece of art or of furniture or a collectible that is exceptional in its category, and then analyzing and communicating, constitutes a cultural act.

To be listening to the world auction is an effective tool for each of us to open our mind on the fields of culture and civilization which we did not know.
