A separate catalog of Sotheby's is devoted to the character of Winnie the Pooh in drawings by Ernest H. Shepard. This L08414 sale is in London on December 17. Lots 10 and 19 are each estimated £ 40 K. (SOLD 115 and 100 K£ including fees)

MacDougall's sells in London on November 25 an important set of original drawings of Somov for Le Livre de la Marquise, £ 1.5 million, lot 6. (SOLD 1.2 M£ including fees)

Two original drawings in ink and gouache of Druillet in tribute to Böcklin split in the sale of Millon in Paris on November 15, lots 184 and 185 estimated € 40 K each. (SOLD together 165 K€ before fees). An original page for Asterix by Uderzo expects 60 K € at lot 537. (SOLD 250 K€ before fees).

It is fun for 28 K € at Artcurial in Paris on September 27 at lot 7: an album Tintin au Pays des Soviets signed "Tintin" (by Hergé) and "Milou" (Snowy)(by his wife). (SOLD 48 K€ before fees).

An original sale in Paris on October 16: Rossini sell posters, cellulos and original drawings of cartoons. (SOLD 12 K€ before fees a cellulo Peter Pan by Disney Studios).

You may ask what is the value of Tintin au Pays des Soviets. A copy of the 9th thousand with worn out cover is at 9 K € by Néret-Minet etTessier at Drouot on September 22 (Lot 236). (UNSOLD).

The Cat of Philippe Geluck is always caught for a star. He is right, the sale of Millon at Drouot-Montaigne on May 31 is partly devoted to him. (SOLD 12.5 K€ before fees an acrylic).

A drawing of Charles Schulz representing Lucy of Peanuts is estimated 7 K$, by Bonhams and Butterfields in Los Angeles on June 16. (UNSOLD on a low estimate of 6 K$).

On May 22 in Dallas, Heritage sells a specimen at almost mint condition of the first issue of Action Comics showing Superman, with a minimum bid of 85 K$ (lot 41001). (SOLD 115 K$ including fees).

By Millon at Drouot on May 31, a drawing by Moebius is estimated 15 K€ (SOLD 56 K€ before fees).

There is a sale of Underground Art, in Dallas by Heritage on May 22 and 23. Several originals of Robert Crumb are highlighted (maximum 50 K$). (SOLD 68 K$ including fees).

The original gouache made to cover Tintin en Amérique volume, 23x23 cm, is presented by Artcurial for sale on March 29, an estimated 280 K €. One for the next volume, Les Cigares du Pharaon, had been the subject of a notorious mishandling in the history of auctions of comic books, with a record price that was transformed into unsold nearly 20 years ago at Drouot. It is difficult to estimate its actual price: the Tintinomania has not stopped climbing, and Artcurial announced that there were altogether five direct gouaches of this type made by Hergé. (SOLD 650 K€ before fees).
