As Lot 3 at Christie's in Paris on December 16 (sale 5555), a pair of candelabra, estimated € 1.5 million, is attributed to Thomire and Rémond. (UNSOLD)

Koller, auction house of Switzerland (Zurich) is proud to present important clocks at each of its sales. On 18 September, we will have a clock "Love and the Child" with carillon, signed by Robert Osmond, Paris 1775-85 (150 KCHF) (SOLD 150 KCHF before fees) and a clock with musical automate "The Smoker", Directoire / Empire, Parisian workshop 1800/10 (160 KCHF). In Paris at Sotheby's on October 2, it is difficult to make a choice between a pair of Louis XVI candelabra attributed to Thomire with bronze after Boizot (800 K €) (SOLD 1.4 M€ including fees), a Louis XV garniture in blue porcelain from China (700 K €), (SOLD 1.1 M€ including fees), a pair of Louis XV vases pots pourris in celadon porcelain of China (700 K €) (SOLD 1 M€ including fees) and a pair of swans of Meissen by Kändler (250 K €). (SOLD 660 K€ including fees)

On July 30 in Monte Carlo, Tajan sells no less than 23 mirrors by Vautrin (maximum of low estimates 45 K €). (SOLD 50 K€ including fees).

I just addressed Percier in furniture. He is now referred as the designer of a pair of candlers by Thomire, at 150 KCHF at Koller in Zurich on June 19 (Lot 1282). (SOLD 160 KCHF before fees).

A 25 K € only, the number 155 from the sale of Libert at Drouot on June 11 is a pair of globes signed by Mercator and dated 1541, diameter 37 cm each, on pedestals of the late nineteenth century. (SOLD 29 K€ before fees)

By PIASA at Drouot on June 18, we will find a Régence clock with bronzes reproducing the Day and Night by Michelangelo (150 K €, lot 45). (SOLD 315 K€ before fees).

In London on July 8, Sotheby's announces that a covered black and gold pot-pourri vase Qianlong vase mounted under Louis XV with gilded bronze will exceed 1 M£. (SOLD 2.15 M£ including fees). A pair of Chinese cache-pots, also mounted under Louis XV, awaits 250 K£. (SOLD 325 K£ including fees).

On June 2, by Camard in Paris, a pair of appliques of Rateau. (SOLD 140 K€ including fees)

On May 27, in Hong Kong, Christie's present fifteen clocks from eighteenth century coming from a Tokyo museum being renovated. The most important are musical automated clocks, some of them from Guangzhou workshops (4.5, 2.5, 2 and 1.5 MHK$), (top SOLD 40 MHK$) and an English one to 4.5 MHK$ (SOLD 36 MHK$).

At Sotheby's Paris on April 9, there will be a pair of celadon Kangxi vases mounted in Louis XV bronze (Lot 98, 800 K €). (SOLD 2 M€ before fees).

On April 1, in Amsterdam, in a sale of the collection of the princes of Liechtenstein, Christie's features a pair of floor globes, one terrestrial and one celestial, in excellent condition, by the first Blaeu. The estimate (200 K €) seems low. (SOLD 794 K€ including fees).
