For my first visit to the site of Quittenbaum in Munich, I chose a Murano glass of 1934 by Carlo Scarpa, for sale on September 2 (24 K €). (UNSOLD).
A vase of 1937 by Edvin Ohrström is at number 277 from the sale of Stockholms Auktionsverk on August 3 (200 K SEK). (SOLD 190 K SEK before fees).
For lamps of glass and bronze by Tiffany, the choice date is June 14, in New York at Sotheby's. One of them, lot 115, is worth 700 K$. (UNSOLD ; SOLD another lamp 930 K$ including fees).
On June 4 in London, Bonhams disperses a collection of glasses. Lot 56 is an anglo-Dutch goblet dated 1759 (12 K£). (SOLD 20 K£ before fees).
In the sale of April 4 by Millon at Drouot, a chalice vase by Gallé (150 K €). (SOLD 150 K€ before fees).
Est-Ouest Auctions, which sold a glass piece of Gallé for 205 million yen on July 21 2007, announced for March 8 and 9 a glass cup with dragonflies of the same glassmaker. (?)
The originality of the form creates the higher prices, particularly for Gallé. We wait with curiosity a vase displaying ancolies flowers that Millon presents in the Gazette de Drouot in advertising its sale of April 4 at Drouot. (not confirmed in catalog).
