How to use

Every weekend, I publish my review of future auction sales on the blog ArtHitParade , under the title ddmm Preview, where dd is the day and mm the month.
I then split this review into the groups of this network, as comments.
When the result is known, I insert it in bold in the same article ddmm Preview on ArtHitParade.

Each day, I select a subject, which I detail in the discussions of the appropriate group of this network.
When the result is known, I record it as a comment to its discussion on this network.

An interesting collection of bronze Gothic seals is going to Drouot on September 24 at Libert. The low estimates peak at 2 K €.

Errors are common in the sale of stamps, more rare for coins. Heritage found a one cent coin cut (it seems) in a 1 / 2 cent plate. This monster is included in the sale to be held from July 30 to August 2 in Baltimore.

1805 Auction on ArtHitParade

From June 4 to 7, Bowers and Merena is as usual the auction house associated with the Baltimore Coin and Currency Convention. It presents 3000 lots to us, of which a gold coin of 1$ of 1854 (lot 3544, current bid 99 K$), a note of 10$ of 1901 with bison (75 K$, lot 2537), a lot of 5$ of 1923 with the effigy of Lincoln (30 K$, lot 2630).

0405 Auction on ArtHitParade

I always prefer to quote the results of the objects which I had located. I allow myself a variation for the exceptional currency sale which Heritage Auctions has just done, and of which I put the link towards the press release.

Your inputs are welcomed

For the time being, I am the only author writing in this network.
My end goal is that my inputs are superseded by yours on the subjects where your knowledge is better than mine.
It must be easy: as a generalist, I am specialist of nothing.
If I meet this goal then I shall "only" act as editor.
