Christie's sells a steel sword made in Tula estimated £ 300 K in London on November 24, sale 7630, Lot 40. (UNSOLD)

The Orthodox art is represented by very old icons at Christie's London on November 24 as well (sale 7661): a Byzantine Nativity made circa 1400 (200 K £, lot 36), (SOLD 230 K£ including fees), a Muscovite Mother of God and Child (£ 200 K, Lot 18). (UNSOLD)

Sotheby's sells on November 24 in London a miniature portrait showing Empress Maria Fyodorovna in a heart shaped frame by Fabergé (£ 60 K, lot 25). (SOLD 230 K£ including fees)

The Russian art is often exceeding its estimates, so we follow with curiosity a badge of the White Eagle monogramed by Keibel, Lot 167 of the sale of Lombrail-Teucquam in Paris on November 13. It expects 50 K €. (SOLD 57 K€ before fees)

An order of St Andrew in gold, silver and diamonds 10 x 7 cm is estimated 230 K € by San Giorgio in Genoa on October 18 (sale 005-I, lot 417). (SOLD 800 K€, probably before fees)

On June 12 in London, lot 540 of the sale of Sotheby's is a plaque of the order of St Andrew, circa 1800 (400 K£). (SOLD 2.7 M£ including fees).

Christie's sells icons in London on June 9. A great icon of the Apocalypse (142x131 cm), made at Novgorod at the end of the seventeenth century, is expected at 180 K £ (Lot 55). (SOLD 360 K£ including fees).

By Coutau-Bégarie at Drouot on May 28, lot 128 is a silver samovar, also by Fabergé (150 K €). (SOLD 150 K€ before fees).

I had already announced it in Jewellery section: at the sale of the jewels of Christina Onassis at Christie's in London on June 11, a jade Buddha by Fabergé is estimated 250 K £. (SOLD 1.27 M£ including fees). On the same day but in another sale, there are a Cross of the Order of St George (200 K £) (SOLD 480 K£ including fees) and a sword with diamonds (150 K £). (SOLD 180 K£ including fees). These memorabilia come from a Romanov grand duke.

In the sale of the jewels of Christina Onassis at Christie's in London on June 11, a curiosity: a jade Buddha by Fabergé at 250 K£. (SOLD 1.27 M£ including fees).

By Aguttes at Drouot on March 31, the Russian gouache showing Napoleon and his troops in Moscow, mentioned in this column on March 9, is estimated 15 K € (Lot 167). It is perhaps too large (111x295 cm) to be able to sell easily. (SOLD 36 K€ including fees).

On April 18 in New York, Christie's sell a nephrite Fabergé elephant exceptionally large for this type of object: 7.5 inches high (300 K$). (SOLD 600 K$ including fees).

by Coutau-Bégarie on April 30, an Imperial gold Fabergé cigarette box. (UNSOLD, on May 28).
