Happy new year to all the visitors of this page.

I hope that 2009 will give us many opportunities to share together on Art, Culture, Civilization.

I invite you to join this special Group, not related to a section of the art market. All your news and inputs concerning art and culture are welcomed.

I am happy to announce some improvements on this network. BETA phase is now completed, and I am changing the network title to WORLD AUCTION in order to better promote the subject of the network.

All along 2008 I highlighted the major lots to come at auction. All this history including results is now available as featured discussions in all the other Groups.

Similar 2009 discussions are being started. Each of the 2009 discussion will include the links to the auction houses and to the Group discussions concerning lots to come at auction.

Important SubTabs have been added including :
AUCTION PRESS (access to Press release of auction houses)
QUICK CALENDAR for auction dates
VIP to tell why some members are featured

In the other Groups the comment wall has been cleaned, for you to have a place to better express your preferred subjects (related to the art market).

I've been sampling randomly and simply find the content here immensely enjoyable. I have a new appreciation for the significance of art at auction. I'm also impressed by the range of topics covered relevant to art. It's just wonderfully stimulating. I think you do a great job with this social network Pierre, adn I'm happy to be a part of it. Now, with this new open group, I look forward to discussing art from my own perspective and interests.
