WORLDAUCTION

Inviting you to follow AUCTION NEWS for immersing into WORLD HISTORY

We started early 2008 with a daily post related to outstanding lots in future auctions. So we currently have 500+ inputs splitted in the 31 groups, 98 % being now related to past sales.

A network is not the best place to use such a data. When we have 1000 inputs in 2011 I intend to transfer them into a co-operative website dealing with the basics of art history linking to significant auction results.

I invite now the members to remind us what was (were) the memorable auction result(s) in their preferred field(s) of interest. Please use the Comment Wall of the Groups for that purpose. No matter if you do not remember the details, I will look at them for you.

I expect that your inputs will increase the social activity on the network and help other members to know your subjects of interest.

I also remind you that blog posts and future events are featured and come into the main page when they are related to auctions.

Please never publish photos in WORLD AUCTION unless you are the owner of all the rights or can provide a full demonstration that the image is public.

Please avoid using the WORLD AUCTION network for other subjects than auctions.

Thank you for your attention.

When it is Krishna that is giving reply, you can guess what she likes. My favourite ones are those related to science-art. I follow them very religiously from my network. I liked the one that is related to fossil lizard in amber because I painted one picture with the same theme.

Hi Krishna !

Thank you for this nice feedback.

Other members are also kindly invited to tell or remind if they liked some input in this network, or if some input was useful to them for any purpose.

I am well aware of your preferred subjects, Krishna ! I would be delighted to have a similar information from many other members. Last year I pushed the subject of women artists because a member reacted to it. Still now I am pushing current art because I have excellent comments from a member on the French network.

I have in the pipe another subject for the group Sciences. Your reply gives me the pulse to prepare it as my next discussion.

Have a nice Sunday !

Pierre
