How to use

Every weekend, I publish my review of future auction sales on the blog ArtHitParade , under the title ddmm Preview, where dd is the day and mm the month.
I then split this review into the groups of this network, as comments.
When the result is known, I insert it in bold in the same article ddmm Preview on ArtHitParade.

Each day, I select a subject, which I detail in the discussions of the appropriate group of this network.
When the result is known, I record it as a comment to its discussion on this network.

1805 Auction on ArtHitParade

By way of test concerning African art that one did not see much lately, let us track at Pierre Bergé and Associés on June 5 in Brussels a Tshokwe sceptre, 59 cm high. This ethnos group of Angola often generates important prices. This one is estimated only at 60 K€.

Auction tracking on ArtHitParade :

(0903) A collection of items from New Ireland will be part of the sale at Sotheby's Paris on June 11.

(2704) The highlight of the sale of Sotheby's New York on May 16 is a Baga serpent (Guinea) collected in 1957 and which is known to have influenced the contemporary art at the time of one exhibition at the Matisse gallery of New York in 1961 (1,5 M$).

Your inputs are welcomed

For the time being, I am the only author writing in this network.
My end goal is that my inputs are superseded by yours on the subjects where your knowledge is better than mine.
It must be easy: as a generalist, I am specialist of nothing.
If I meet this goal then I shall "only" act as editor.
