En mi también hay el espíritu de los navegantes y aventureros portugueses.
Todo empieza con el viaje impuesta a partir del viejo mundo, del Portugal de las Descubiertas y de las colonias hasta Mozambique, en África, lleno de etnias negras y de un esplendoroso colorido.
La distancia entre mis orígenes adormecidas y ese despertar súbito no agota la pregunta interminable: Quien soy? Experimento esta fabulosa latitud mezclándola con otras vidas, con otros dolores, con la pureza del color y la trama de mosaicos a la que llaman Mestiza.
Construí Actitudes a partir de mis Latitudes.
En estas Latitudes busqué las semillas de luz selvática que pueblan mis pinturas y cerámicas.
En estas Latitudes encontré las mestizas que habitan mis obras.
Mis Latitudes y Actitudes y la mezcla de Dolor y Color con que me confronté durante este precurso de vida determinan mi búsqueda del Arte dentro del Ser Humano, concretamente dentro del Universo del Ser Mujer. Lo que plasmo es, por tanto, un viaje por dentro del espíritu... a las “puertas y ventanas del alma”, territorios femeninos de conexión con la Vida y la Divinidad.
En estas Latitudes, con mis Actitudes y por medio del Arte continuo buscando las vivencias del Ser Mujer.
